How do i turn off my fitbit

If you need to turn off your device, press and hold the button for three seconds. To restart it, press and hold the button for three seconds again.

If you’re still having trouble, try these tips:

-Make sure that your Fitbit is close to your phone or tablet. If it’s too far away, it won’t receive notifications.

-If you’re using an Android phone, check theNotification Settingsfor your Fitbit app. On some devices, you may need to tapApp Notificationsand then turn on priority notifications for your Fitbit app.

-Turn off other apps that might be running in the background and using up battery life, such as email, social media, and music apps.

-If you have a Fitbit Charge or Fitbit Charge HR, make sure that the Quick View setting is turned off. This setting turns on the screen when you double-tap your device.

-Update the firmware for your Fitbit device. Newer versions of firmware can improve battery life.

-If you still can’t restart your device or it doesn’t turn on, remove and reconnect the charging cable, and then try again.

Try these steps if your Fitbit device won’t sync

If syncing issues persist, log in to your account on a different phone, tablet, or computer and try to sync. If your device syncs normally on another account, the problem is with the first account.

-If you have a Fitbit Ionic™ watch, make sure that you’re using the included charging cable and adapter. Do not use a USB hub, USB splitter, or any non-approved devices to charge your watch.

-If you have a Fitbit Blaze™, make sure that the charging contacts on the back of the device are clean and free of debris.

-Make sure that the charging port on your device is free of debris and dust. To clean it, use a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol.

-Detach then reattach the charging cable to your device.

-If you use a USB port on a computer, try connecting the charging cable to a different USB port. We also recommend that you try connecting your charging cable to a UL-certified USB wall charger.
